The journey so far.
A first look. Then a closer one.
An Instagram discovery led to conversations, photographs and personal video tours. Bob showed the glass, the cabin, the instruments and the engine bay before mechanical preparation. The present owner bought the car on 26 June 2026.
Mechanical preparation
At Speed removed the engine and gearbox, renewed the clutch, resealed the engine, and refreshed the suspension and brakes. Bob and Rich documented the progress along the way.
Bringing it all together
The engine is back in, with a new clutch, renewed brakes and much of the suspension work complete. MFI tuning is underway. Front-strut checks, final alignment and road testing remain on the workshop list.
