1973 Porsche 911 SChain housings and new ramps
Cleaned and resealed chain covers, new hardware and replacement chain ramps; the hydraulic tensioners were already fitted.

0:01Little by little making the 1973 911 S engine back to the way it should be. You can see over
0:13the years someone upgraded the chain tensioners to the hydraulic units which changed out this
0:21magnesium cover to aluminum. So we cleaned all that up and Rich resealed it with brand
0:30new hardware. He also changed out all the ramps and so we're making a dent in the
0:41redo of this engine.

Cooling fan and covers on the removed flat-six
The belt-driven fan sends cooling air over the engine. Beside it, the covers and surrounding metalwork are accessible with the flat-six out of the car.
