Meet the green 911 S
Swiss-market details, original glass, the interior, shifter work and Pirelli tires.
Read along.
0:00Okay, let's take a look at the 73S, green metallic again, he's a Swiss car.
0:11So these bumpers are very specific to Switzerland.
0:17You can see the original plate.
0:21One of the really cool things about an original car is you won't be able to see this but each
0:26of these panels or each of these slats is numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 on down and when they were
0:34assembling them they stamped them so you can always tell fake ones from real ones.
0:41All the glass is original, [unclear], all the way through the car, even original Porsche factory
0:48front windshield.
0:52Original interior. You can see the dash; it does have, I think, a teeny crack somewhere. I don’t
1:01see it right now but we rebuilt the shifter already because I got into it and I said this
1:06is wrong.
1:08I do have the original steering wheel, these although they say they're original, I think
1:18these were redone, maybe so definitely original carpet, you just can't fake that.
1:29The doors, door cards, everything about them, original.
1:36We haven't even detailed the car yet, I've just been banging around with it.
1:41You can see the paint, very, very, very nice, I'll certainly paint corrected etc and then
1:50we're going to do whatever is needed.
1:53The car runs fabulously, it's very, very, very fast.
1:58Certainly needs an alignment I believe but very nice as is.
2:05All the rims look like this, they have Pirelli P6000s, not my favorite but they do just
2:14fine.
